  Lasheeka Prokop, Center Director

  Greetings everyone! My name is LaSheeka Prokop. I am originally from Virginia Beach, VA, but now I reside in Raleigh, NC. I have been in the childcare field for over 14 years working with children 6 weeks -12 years of age. I started my career out as an administrator of a Home Daycare for military families for 5 years in Virginia Beach. I loved working with children and their families so much that I furthered my education. I obtained my Associates of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education, and later obtained my Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Development & became a Level III administrator. Most recently, I was working as a Center Director at a 5-star center in Raleigh. During my professional career in the Early Childhood Education field, I have been fortunate enough to be in both teaching and leadership roles. I love being creative and inspiring children to be the best they can be. I strive to create an atmosphere that is caring and nurturing that fosters creativity and self confidence for your child. Teaching and creating a partnership with families are my passion. I believe modeling positive behaviors and allowing children to explore, create, and discover gives them vital tools to be successful in their journey of early learning. When I am not busy being a Director. I am devoting my time to being an amazing wife and mother to my four wonderful sons.   Welcome to our Kiddie Academy family!  I, Sudeep Chandak, together with my wife Mamta Chandak, are excited to start this journey.  As the owners, we will strive to provide an educational childcare, where the emphasis is on learning while having fun!! we will continue to pursue Kiddie Academy’s vision by bringing our passion for a high-quality educational experience to each family. We are committed to build warm and nurturing school with a nationally accredited academic program. I have master’s Degree in Information System Management and has 15 years of IT Experience. Our 2 children are the reason we explored the world of early childhood education. Our focus is to provide a stimulating early learning and childcare experience which promotes each child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development in a warm and loving environment. We are committed to serve parents, children entrusted in our care by providing support and encouragement.
