Introducing Health Essentials Safety and Wellness Program

Caring for the health and safety for our children, parents, and staff has always been a top priority at Kiddie Academy of Cypresswood. As we carefully and gradually return to our normal daily lives, we want to reassure our families that there has been significant planning in response to the COVID-19 crisis. With the utmost focus on the health and well-being of our families and our teachers, Kiddie Academy has developed a set of guidelines entitled Health Essentials. The Kiddie Academy Health Essentials guidelines were created to enhance and increase daily health and safety precautions which, when implemented, will help reduce the spread of germs within our Academy. This plan is summarized by four global principles:
• Wellness Education – Educating our staff on the spread of pathogens through ongoing training.
• Healthy Environment – Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting throughout the Academy.
• Enhanced Hygiene – Implementation of enhanced handwashing and other personal cleanliness procedures including mask/face covering requirements for all adults.
• Symptom Monitoring – Keeping a watchful eye for illness throughout the day including daily temperature check.
Our primary focus is the safety, welfare and education of the children in our care.
Kiddie Academy of Cypresswood is a brand new state -of-the-art learning center that features STEM-base curriculum that develop the whole child – including cognitive, social, emotional and physical aspects of childhood development. We also serves nutritious meals through a family-style, child-led dining philosophy. Parents are also able to fully understand their child’s day though AcademyLink, a parent communication portal, and via live, secure streaming video in every classroom and play area.
