Pamela Etta
Pamela Etta is passionate about educating children. She was born and raised in Cameroon, and educated in England, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Information and Library Studies at Northumbria University. She earned a first Master's Degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management at the University of Surrey, England, and a second in School Librarianship/ Education from St. John's University in New York. Having lived in, studied in, and visited many countries around the world, Pamela is familiar with and sensitive to various world cultures. Her career as an educator of young children started in Queens, New York, where she worked as a children's librarian. After serving briefly in this capacity, she worked as a certified School Media Specialist in the states of New York and Connecticut. Pamela is a strong believer in the power of early education and quality childcare, in preparing children not just for school, but also for life! A resident of Katy, TX since 2011, Pamela is committed to providing Katy children a fun, safe, and stimulating quality learning environment, while giving their parents peace of mind at work. It is Pamela's strongly held belief that every child deserves a chance at greatness. As such, she devotes much time and energy to offering children in marginalized communities a greater chance of success through her non-profit organization, the Early Literacy Foundation. A wife and mother of two, Pamela dreams of meeting the early literacy needs of even more children worldwide, and of authoring children's books. She is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, holds teacher certifications in New York and Connecticut, and Director's Credentials for Connecticut and Texas.
