The 10,500 square foot location is expected to serve 163 students ages 6 weeks to 12 years old in the area and is bringing approximately 24 new jobs to the community. Kiddie Academy of Hawthorn Woods features a turf playground, Watch Me Grow video streaming for families and Hatch Technology to help capture attention of early learners through play.
“We believe that opportunities to teach and expand young minds present themselves every day and everywhere,” notes Tosi. “Kiddie Academy empowers children with valuable tools to help make the most of those opportunities and we aim to foster a fascination for learning in the classroom, at home and throughout the community.”
Since its inception in 1981, Kiddie Academy has been grounded in the vision to create a community that shapes and inspires children for the future. Kiddie Academy of Hawthorn Woods joins a network of 280+ locations nationwide, with 35 new Academies projected to open within the next year. The Hawthorn Woods location utilizes the Kiddie Academy Life Essentials® curriculum, which promotes each child’s intellectual, social, physical and emotional growth.
