  Ajay Anand, Owner of Kiddie Academy of Kennesaw

  Ajay Anand was raised in a small Florida town, where his family owned and operated a Ramada Limited. Together, they managed all aspects of the business from the front desk to housekeeping. Ajay and his brother worked hard each weekend, waking up early to make as many as 60 beds a day. This experience molded a hard-work ethic, discipline, and life-long motivation to create a better life, and make life better for others. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Georgia State University, Ajay started his career as an Investment Analyst with Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting. In 2016, he decided to take his experience and use it as an Independent Financial Advisor. As the President and CEO of Anand Financial Advisors, he now helps families and closely-held business owners achieve financial freedom and peace of mind that they can pass on for generations. With his extensive business experience, he will strive to provide a healthly work place environrment for both staff and children.

  Payal Anand, Owner of Kiddie Academy of Kennesaw

  Payal Anand has always had a passion for working with kids. In high school she volunteered at a special needs school and was the chair of the local American Red Cross Youth Society. These experiences and a passion for science led her to receive a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Emory University. For the last 12 years she has worked as a Pediatric Registered Nurse and a Charge Nurse. Most recently, working at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Her experiences of managing admissions throughout the day, handling unexpected issues while monitoring nurses, technicians, patients, and communication with the interdisciplinary team have inspired her to expand her impact. She is thrilled to bring Kiddie Academy to the Kennesaw, GA community. As a mother of two boys herself, a 5-year-old and 2-year-old, she understands parents’ concern for safety and wellbeing of their children and understands how to care for children. Having gone through the process of looking into education-based-childcare when her eldest son was ready to start school, she knew how important communication to finding the right fit is. Payal will be at the Academy managing the day-to-day operations from building an experienced team of educators to keeping families up to date with Academy happening, she will immerse herself in the community.

  Yahnchelle Scott, Academy Director

  Yahnchelle Scott is honored to be the Center Director of Kiddie Academy of Kennesaw. She has 8+ years of experience as a teacher and child development administrator. She earned her degree in criminal justice along with an AS/TCC in early childhood education. Yahnchelle has a plethora of experience working with children of all age groups in many different settings. She has worked in the school system, group homes, and childcare centers located inside colleges. Outside of the classroom, Yahnchelle publishes,writes, and illustrates children's books. She has a few books on Amazon and at Barnes & Noble. Yahnchelle believes that being a leader in the child care community sets the tone for a positive learning experience. Partnering with families and striving to meet their individual needs by getting to know each family through meaningful interactions is what she does best. She looks forward to creating close relationships with families and providing high-quality childcare in the Cobb County community.
