My name is Sanam Truman. I am originally from Iran but have been living most of my adult life in the USA. I am the mother of two children, Hannah and Tyler, and we currently reside in Loudoun County. My love of working with numbers has pushed me toward majoring in accounting; however, my true love and passion has directed me towards working in preschool. I received my Associates in Business Administration and my Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance. I have been working as a Preschool Center Director for more than 20 years. What inspires me to come to work each day is; every day is a different story and everything is a learning adventure for the young children. Witnessing their progress is an absolutely amazing experience and is totally priceless. My Favorite Quote: "The greatest gifts you can give your children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence." - Denis Waitley

I am a member of our academy’s admin team. I was born and raised in VA. I have my BS in Global Health. I believe that early childhood education is critical to the foundational success of children’s learning, and that is why I decided to join KA to become an educator. Throughout the years I have truly enjoyed watching children grow and thrive, which I will cherish for the rest of my life. Apart from work and school whenever I get any free time, I love to read, bake, hike, and spend time with friends and family😊

I am originally from Lebanon; happily married, and a proud mother of two sons and a daughter. I am fluent in English, Arabic, and French. Love long walks, enjoy reading, and shopping. And, of course always grateful for any time I have to spend with my friends and family. I love my job, and happy to be a part of KA family. Silliness is one behavior you can almost always count on when you’re around kids. Whether they’re making goofy faces, playing an imaginary game, or telling jokes, kids enjoy being silly. And better yet, they enjoy other people joining in on the silliness with them! When working with kids, you get paid to be as silly as you want, as much as you want! How many people can say that?! 😊

There’s truly nothing that feels better than a child showing their affection towards you. Maybe it’s them smiling when they see you for the first time that day, giving you a little hug, or telling you they love you. Children show love and affection in different ways, but the ways in which they do always feel genuine, and know how to instantly melt your heart. One of the best parts of working with kids is that it’s almost guaranteed that they share their love for you in some way during the day, every day. Being able to work with children brings new and exciting purpose to your life every day. While just like any job, there are certainly challenging days, the good ones add so much more meaning and reward to your life, that it outweighs the tough ones in a heartbeat😊

I am originally from El Salvador. Lived most of my life in the US with my family. When I get a chance, I enjoy going to the Gym😊 My favorite thing is being in nature, walking in the park, and watching the sunset. That always makes me happy and gives me special joy. My love for children directed me on a path of becoming an educator and working with little ones. I believe by nature, children are active, imaginative, and creative. The activities, lessons, and experiences of working with children also help you to increase your own imagination and creativity. That is why I enjoy my job and enjoy being a preschool teacher😊

I absolutely love working with children and look forward to helping my class of 2-year-olds learn and grow! I started my teaching journey over 5 years ago as a preschool teacher. I’ve worked in a variety of childcare centers as well as provided at-home child care for kids of all ages. I like to make learning fun! I use games, and hands-on activities, and encourage kids to ask questions as they explore. Although we certainly learn by doing things together, I know that each child has their own unique way of learning, so I make sure to incorporate each child's needs into the fun! I care deeply about the happiness and success of every child at our school. I'm here to ensure our school is a safe and welcoming place where kids can discover, learn, and make friends. I also think it's important to work closely with parents because we're a team in helping the kids grow. In a nutshell, I'm passionate about teaching preschoolers and making their early years full of joy and learning! I'm here to make sure our preschool is the best it can be for your little ones!

I am originally from Morocco. Happily married, and mother to three wonderful children; two boys and a girl. Having young children and being a working Mom does not allow me that much spare time. But when I have any free time, I enjoy cooking and baking for my family. I enjoy working with children simply because I get to celebrate their little success every day. Not only are children constantly learning, but as they learn, they become more independent. And as they become more independent, they begin to take more pride in their accomplishments! Whether it’s learning a new word, solving a tough problem on their own, or making a new friend, I can’t think of anything more fulfilling than celebrating those big and small accomplishments with them!

I am currently a student at George Masone University. I was born and raised in Loudoun County, VA. My Mom is Iranian and my dad is American. I am a teacher aide at KA of Moorefield Station. Due to my school schedule, you do not see me that often in the academy. However, when I work, you can usually find me in Octopus, Seahorse, or Dolphin class. I love working with children! I enjoy teaching them new things, having conversations with them, problem-solving with them, playing games, or reading stories to them. maybe because my entire life I was with my mom (Ms. Sanam Truman) in this setting and around children.
