Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood (MCCYN) is a valuable Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Coast Guard fee assistance program designed specifically for eligible military families like yours. This program is intended to bridge the gap for families who cannot access military-operated child care services due to distance or waitlists.
How Does It Work?
With MCCYN fee assistance, a portion of your child care costs is covered to offset the expenses of community-based care. This means that you can now more easily afford high-quality child care services right here in your local community. How to Apply for VPK
School-Year VPK Registration is a two-step process.
Step 1: Visit our on-line registration a registration site to complete an application with scans of the following documentation: a. proof you reside in Florida (e.g. utility bill, bank statement) b. proof your child turns 4 years of age by September 1 (e.g. birth certificate, passport) Families with eligible children will receive a certificate of eligibility. Please keep this document in a safe place as you will need it to enroll your child in the participating VPK program of your choice.
