Bringing home baby

June 6, 2015

As a mother of two, I have experienced the bliss (and utter craziness) of bringing home a newborn baby before. In fact, as I prepare to bring home my third baby in a matter of weeks, one would think I’m prepared. A seasoned pro. A baby whisperer. But can I tell you a secret? Those assumptions are false.

I guess you could say I’m prepared as I’ll ever be, but I still find myself producing thoughts of doubt and anxiousness, just as I did when I welcomed my first born into this world. I’m suddenly scanning the internet to remind myself just what it means to bring home a baby. Crazy, right?

In the end, I know I’ll do just fine. “It’ll all come back to you,” they say. And I sure hope “they” are right.

It’s a tough gig being a parent no matter how many times you go through it. What are some of your newborn parenting tips? Share with us in the comments section below!
