New Kiddie Academy® of Williamsburg

Williamsburg, NY (March 6, 2018) – Local business owner, Howard Chen, was joined by Christopher Lenard from the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Kiddie Academy corporate employees (Kevin Murphy, Chief Operating Officer and Steve Cullum, Franchise Business Consultant), family, friends, and staff to celebrate the ribbon cutting and Grand Opening event for Kiddie Academy® of Williamsburg, which opened its doors to students in January. The ribbon cutting ceremony and Grand Opening event took place on Saturday, February 24, 2018.

The new educational child care center is located at 288 South 5th Street. The state-of-the-art educational facility is 8,018 square feet with a maximum capacity of 99 children ages 8 weeks to 4 years. The new academy boasts:

• 8 classrooms.
• Brand-new tablets and computers, as well as secure webcams in all classrooms.
• Homemade nutritious meals served family-style.
• A comprehensive, education-based child care program, structured to respond to the increasing demand for child care.
• Implementation of the Kiddie Academy Life Essentials® curriculum, which promotes each child’s intellectual, social, physical and emotional growth.
• Continuous, open communication between teachers and parents concerning each child’s development.

Many local organizations, financial institutions and government leaders played a role in developing this project.
