Kiddie Academy of Corona has an exciting leadership opportunity for an energetic, organized, and experienced professional to join us as our Director. This position allows you to lead a team of qualified teachers and administrative staff in providing the best learning, development, and nurturing experience for children and their families. You’ll have the opportunity to combine your Early Childhood Education experience with business management skills to influence the operations of the Academy. If you’re motivated by smiles and laughs from children and being a significant part of their lives, and making parents feel that the Academy is an extended part of their family, then this is the job for you! In addition, you will get to closely work with the owners who are equally passionate about creating a supportive work environment for staff that will be rewarding, refreshing and fulfilling.
Job Responsibilities: Effectively operates and manages all aspects of a child care facility, to include: creating a safe and healthy environment for the children, enrollment building, FAMILY RETENTION, human resources, marketing, ensure compliance and develop strong working relationships with state licensing and other regulatory bodies, and quality assurance. Trains and develops the teaching staff to provide creative, age-appropriate programs to all children served at the Academy. Actively develops and maintains positive customer/community relations. Maintains high capacity utilization and manages all resources effectively and within budget.
Qualifications:
-A director must meet the qualifications of California Licensing Title 22 and the following qualifications:
-the ability to perform all of the responsibilities of Director (below);
-the ability to interact closely with children at their level;
-the ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times;
-the ability to understand and comply with the franchisee’s employment policies;
-the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with school personnel, children and parents;
-the ability to handle crisis situations, including assisting in evacuating the building during emergencies;
-the ability to comply in all respects with all applicable laws and regulations relating to childcare.
