Alexa Freemon

Education Director

Hi! I’m Alexa Freemon. I am the Educational Director here at the Kiddie Academy of Algonquin. Although I have only been the Educational Director for the past year, I have been here at Algonquin for 6 years now! I have lived in the area my entire life, and received my associates degree from Elgin Community College. My favorite part about working here at Kiddie Academy is making memories and bonding with the children! School was always my safe space, and my teachers always made me feel safe, so I knew it was something I wanted to be able to provide for others. Being able to see each child's accomplishments, big or small, and seeing how proud they are of themselves is truly something memorable.

I’ve spent the past four years working as the Academy Director, inspired every day by the joy and curiosity of children. My favorite part of my role is building meaningful connections with our students - especially the hugs that remind me how special this work truly is. As the Academy Director of Kiddie Academy of Algonquin, I’m passionate about creating a nurturing, welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
