Breanna Voorhees

Academy Director

Breanna Voorhees brings over 15 years of experience in early childhood education and more than 20 years working with children. A proud Damascus, Maryland native and mother of two, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies from Towson University. Breanna began her career with Montgomery County Public Schools before transitioning into early childhood education after seeking quality care for her first child — an experience that sparked her passion for the field. Since then, she has taught across all age groups and quickly moved into leadership roles, driven by her dedication and expertise.   Before joining Ballenger Creek Academy, Breanna spent five years directing our New Market Academy. She is committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and developmentally enriching environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to thrive.

Enricha Joaquin

Curriculum Coordinator

Meet Ms. Enricha! Ms. Enricha is our Curriculum Coordinator and School-Age Director! She has been a beloved part of our Kiddie Academy family since March 2024. She originally began her journey at our New Market Academy, where she served as the Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher. Ms. Enricha is known for her passion for Early Childhood Education and is a firm believer in our Kiddie Academy Life Essentials® Curriculum. As our Program Specialist, she ensures that all classrooms are supported and thriving in the implementation of our curriculum. While she will be greatly missed at our New Market Academy, we’re beyond excited to have her help lead the team opening our brand-new school!

Kylie Eiker

Lead Pre-k Teacher

 Meet Ms. Kylie Ms. Kylie is one of our Lead Preschool Teachers and has been a beloved part of our Kiddie Academy family since August 2023. She began her journey at our New Market Academy, where she quickly became a teacher every child and family adored. Known for her passion and dedication to her students, Ms. Kylie takes great pride in making a positive impact on every child who enters her classroom. She’s a firm believer in meeting each child at their own level while encouraging them to reach their fullest potential. While she will be greatly missed at our New Market Academy, we’re beyond excited to have her join the team opening our brand-new school!

Anna Dodson

Lead Preschool Teacher

Meet Ms. Anna! Ms. Anna is one of our Lead Preschool Teachers and has been a beloved part of our Kiddie Academy family since early 2022. She originally started at our New Market Academy, where she quickly became a teacher every child and family adored. Known for her creative art activities, nurturing approach, and outstanding parent communication, Ms. Anna brings warmth and creativity to everything she does. She’s also fluent in ASL and loves incorporating sign language into her daily classroom routine. While she will be greatly missed at our New Market Academy, we’re beyond excited to have her join the team opening our brand-new school!
