Meet the Owners of Kiddie Academy of Bel Air-James Run: Katie and Titus Bryan

Kiddie Academy® of Bel Air-James Run is owned by Katie and Titus Bryan, a local family preparing to bring educational child care to Bel Air, Maryland. With roots in Harford County and a longtime connection to Kiddie Academy, they’re excited to welcome children and families to their Academy.

Get to Know Katie and Titus

Katie and Titus live in Havre de Grace, Maryland, with their two children, Addie (5) and Alex (3). Married for 13 years, they are active members of Freedom Church’s Bel Air campus, where Titus serves on the security team. Together, they have participated in and led several small groups.

Katie will be the main onsite owner at Kiddie Academy of Bel Air-James Run, while families will also see Titus around from time to time. Titus has worked as an outside salesman for Ferguson Waterworks for 10 years.

Katie’s Background in Child Development

Katie grew up in Harford County and attended Harford Christian School from first through twelfth grade. Her connection to Kiddie Academy began long before becoming an owner. Her mom has worked at the corporate office for more than 20 years, and Katie spent time around the organization starting in middle school.

During high school, Katie completed her volunteer hours at the corporate Kiddie Academy. She later attended Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois, earning her Bachelor of Science in Child Development in 2013. As part of her degree program, she returned to the corporate Academy to complete her internship.

These experiences helped Katie grow her connection to early childhood education and the organization she would eventually join as a franchise owner.

“I quickly grew to love the people and heart behind the organization,” Katie shares.

An Academy Years in the Making

Katie and Titus signed their franchise agreement with Kiddie Academy in 2019. Finding the right location and reaching this stage has taken time, making their upcoming opening especially meaningful.

“It has been a long road to get where we are and to find this location, but we are so excited that the time for us to open is almost here!” Katie says.

As Kiddie Academy of Bel Air-James Run prepares to open, Katie and Titus look forward to getting to know local families and becoming part of the Bel Air-James Run community. They’re grateful for the opportunity to provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment where children can learn and grow.
