We know choosing the right early childhood education program is a big decision. Below are answers to some of the most common questions families have asked us as we prepare to open our doors at Kiddie Academy of Briarcliff Manor.

What areas do you serve?

Kiddie Academy of Briarcliff Manor proudly serves families in Briarcliff Manor, Ossining, Pleasantville, Croton-on-Hudson, Sleepy Hollow, Chappaqua, Scarborough, and surrounding Northern Westchester and Rivertowns communities. Many of our families have enrolled with us for our convenient location and strong educational foundation.

What ages do you enroll?

Kiddie Academy of Briarcliff Manor offers programs for children from Infancy through Pre-K, with age-appropriate classrooms designed to support each stage of development.

Our comprehensive range of programs is designed and crafted for the following age groups:

• Infant (6 weeks to 18 months)
• Toddler (19 months to 24 months)
• Early Preschool (2 Year-Olds)
• Preschool (3 Year-Olds)
• Pre-Kindergarten (4 and 5 Year-Olds)

We also have a School-Age program for before & after care, along with a summer camp program for ages 2 to 8 year-olds.

What are the teacher qualifications?

Lead and Assistant Teachers have been carefully selected and meet all state requirements for early childhood education. All staff members undergo background checks and receive ongoing training to ensure the highest standards of care and instruction.

Do you offer full-time and part-time schedules?

We offer both Full-Time and Part-Time schedule options. Full-Time is 5 days a week from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Part-Time options include 3 days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and 2 days (Tuesday, Thursday). Part-Time schedules are also 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

What are your hours?

We are open from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM! Our extended hours are included within the tuition and are designed to support the needs of working families. We do not charge extra for drop-off and pick-up within this 12-hour time frame.

Are meals included within the tuition?

Yes. We offer 3 meals daily – a nutritious breakfast and lunch, along with an afternoon snack designed to support growing bodies and healthy habits. Menus are thoughtfully planned and accommodate dietary needs and allergies whenever possible, in partnership with families. View our sample menu here.

Do you have cameras?

Yes. Our Academy is equipped with 30 high-definition cameras, both indoors and outdoors. Each classroom has 2 cameras on opposite ends, allowing for full 360-degree line of sight. We will record and store video for up to 30 days and can play back any footage upon request.

Do you offer summer camp?

Yes. Kiddie Academy offers a summer camp program called CampVentures® designed to keep children engaged, active, and learning throughout the summer months. Our summer experiences include themed activities, hands-on projects, outdoor play, and enrichment opportunities, all within a safe and structured environment.

What is your curriculum philosophy?

Our curriculum is built around Kiddie Academy’s proprietary Life Essentials® philosophy, which focuses on educating the whole child. We combine play-based learning with intentional instruction to support academic readiness, social-emotional development, character building, and confidence. Children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and excited to explore—and that belief guides everything we do.

What if my child is not potty-trained?

That’s perfectly okay. Potty training is a developmental milestone, and we partner closely with families to support each child at their own pace. Our teachers are experienced in working with children who are at different stages of potty training and provide consistent, encouraging support without pressure.

Do you have a sibling discount?

Yes! We offer a 10% discount on the older sibling’s tuition.
