I earned my associate degree in early childhood education from Indiana Wesleyan University, and I am in the childcare field serving families since 2015! I have filled many roles throughout my career, including: a toddler teacher, preschool teacher, assistant director, and director. For me the best part of being in childcare is being able to be part of the different stages of development that children go through, celebrating milestone after milestone alongside them. I love being a constant nurturing figure for children while away from their parents and looks forward to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment for them to thrive in each day. My most rewarding moments are when I am able to see a child’s face light up when they master a new skill and how proud they are! I love spending time at home with my own three children and I love to do arts and crafts. We also love to spend time at the beach and on the lake fishing in the summer as well as sled riding and playing in snow in the winter. My favorite childhood book is Are You, My Mother? It was a book I read over and over as a child and now I am able to share it with my own children who enjoy it just as much as I did!
