Kiddie Academy of Cary

Greetings everyone! My name is LaSheeka Prokop. I am originally from Virginia Beach, VA, but now I reside in Raleigh, NC. I have been in the childcare field for over 14 years working with children 6 weeks -12 years of age. I started my career out as an administrator of a Home Daycare for military families for 5 years in Virginia Beach. I loved working with children and their families so much that I furthered my education. I obtained my Associates of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education, and later obtained my Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Development & became a Level III administrator. Most recently, I was working as a Center Director at a 5-star center in Raleigh. During my professional career in the Early Childhood Education field, I have been fortunate enough to be in both teaching and leadership roles. I love being creative and inspiring children to be the best they can be. I strive to create an atmosphere that is caring and nurturing that fosters creativity and self confidence for your child. Teaching and creating a partnership with families are my passion. I believe modeling positive behaviors and allowing children to explore, create, and discover gives them vital tools to be successful in their journey of early learning. When I am not busy being a Director. I am devoting my time to being an amazing wife and mother to my four wonderful sons.
