At Kiddie Academy of Cedar Knolls, we believe learning should grow alongside your child, with age-appropriate experiences that encourage curiosity, build confidence, and support development every step of the way.

Through our Life Essentials® curriculum, we provide educational child care programs designed to meet children where they are, helping them develop important social, emotional, physical, and academic skills in a nurturing environment.

From First Discoveries to Growing Independence

Infant and Toddler Care

Learning begins long before a child’s first words or steps. Our infant program, designed for children ages 6 weeks to 12 months, focuses on nurturing relationships, sensory exploration, and early developmental milestones.

As children enter our toddler program, ages 13 to 24 months, learning becomes increasingly active and hands-on. Through movement, music, play, and everyday interactions, toddlers begin developing communication skills, independence, and an understanding of the world around them.

Early Preschool and Preschool

As children grow, so does their curiosity! Our early preschool program for 2-year-olds introduces opportunities to explore, make choices, and practice important social skills through engaging activities.

In our preschool program for 3-year-olds, children build on these foundations through creative expression, early literacy, hands-on STEM activities, and cooperative play. Our educators encourage children to ask questions, develop friendships, and gain confidence as they discover new interests.

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten

Preparing for school involves much more than learning letters and numbers. Our pre-kindergarten program for 4-year-olds helps children strengthen communication, problem-solving, and independence while building important foundations for kindergarten.

Our kindergarten program for 5-year-olds continues this growth with engaging learning experiences that support reading, writing, critical thinking, and social development.

School-Age Programs and Summer Camp

Learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends! Our school-age program provides opportunities for children ages 5 to 12 to continue learning, exploring interests, and connecting with peers.

During the summer, our CampVentures® program offers children ages 2 to 12 engaging experiences through hands-on activities, themed adventures, and opportunities for discovery.
