What It Means to Be a Morris School District Contracted Preschool Provider

Access to high-quality early childhood education can make a meaningful difference for children and families. Through New Jersey’s Preschool Expansion Program, more families have opportunities to access preschool experiences that support children’s learning, development, and kindergarten readiness.

At Kiddie Academy of Cedar Knolls, we’re proud to partner with the Morris School District as a contracted preschool provider, helping expand access to tuition-free preschool for eligible families in Morristown and Morris Township.

What Is the Morris School District Preschool Expansion Program?

The Morris School District Preschool Program is part of New Jersey’s commitment to expanding access to high-quality early childhood education. Through partnerships with community-based providers, the district offers tuition-free preschool opportunities for eligible 3- and 4-year-old children residing within its service area.

As a participating provider, Kiddie Academy of Cedar Knolls helps support this initiative by providing a local preschool setting where children can develop important social, emotional, and early learning skills.

What Does Being a Contracted Preschool Provider Mean?

Being a contracted preschool provider means that Kiddie Academy of Cedar Knolls participates in the Morris School District’s publicly funded preschool program.

This partnership allows eligible families to access tuition-free preschool at a participating community-based location while supporting children’s development through age-appropriate educational experiences.

For families, it means having an additional preschool location to consider as part of the district’s program, with opportunities for children to build confidence, develop friendships, and prepare for their next educational milestones.

Who Is Eligible for Tuition-Free Preschool?

According to the Morris School District’s 2026–2027 registration requirements, children must be 3 or 4 years old on or before October 1 and reside in Morristown or Morris Township to qualify for the district’s preschool program.

Families must provide documentation verifying their child’s age and district residency, along with required medical information. Enrollment and placement are coordinated through the Morris School District and are subject to program requirements and available space.

Families interested in participating are encouraged to review the district’s current registration information to understand eligibility and the enrollment process.

Supporting Early Learning and Kindergarten Readiness

Preschool is an important time for children to explore their interests, develop independence, and build meaningful relationships with educators and classmates.

At Kiddie Academy of Cedar Knolls, we’re committed to creating a nurturing educational environment where children feel supported as they learn and grow. Our Academy values hands-on exploration, social-emotional development, and the foundational skills that help prepare young learners for kindergarten.

Through our partnership with the Morris School District, we’re proud to help make these early educational opportunities accessible to more families in our community.
