Colleen Shuter, Regional Director

Ms. Colleen Shuter is a seasoned professional with a dedicated focus on Early Childhood Education, School Leadership, and Management. With over 12 years of experience in the field within the state of North Carolina, she has cultivated a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for fostering educational excellence. Throughout her career, Ms. Shuter has held diverse roles, including educator, Assistant Director, Regional Admissions Specialist, and School Director. Her commitment to professional development is evident in her attainment of Early Childhood Education and Administration Credentials from Haywood College, alongside her ongoing pursuit of a degree in Psychology at Liberty University. Outside of her professional endeavors, Ms. Shuter values quality time with her family and friends. She finds rejuvenation in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and rock climbing, as well as maintaining a balanced lifestyle through yoga, workouts, and cherished moments with friends and family.

Tracy Federico, Operations Director

Ms. Tracy Federico has been working in the field of education for over 25 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education with a minor in early childhood development from the University of Delaware. She has taught almost every age of children ranging from 3 to 18 years old. For the past 16 years, she was a teacher of three- and four-year-olds and director at a small cooperative preschool in Maryland. Ms. Federico believes strongly in the development of the whole child through academic, social, emotional, and physical activities. She believes the development and growth of the child is one that is best achieved through a partnership with the school and the family and enjoys working alongside the family on their child’s educational journey.
