Hello! My name is Claudia Wood and I have worked in the Early Childhood Education field for 35 years, as a teacher and administrator. I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania to study Early Childhood Education. I have been married to my husband Jim for 35 years and I am the proud mother of three children and seven grandchildren. All my children and four of my grandchildren were fortunate enough to attend Forsyth County Schools! My husband and I have lived in Forsyth County for 30 years and love being part of the community! My lifetime passion has been to ensure that our youngest learners have a safe, healthy, and quality learning environment to thrive and grow! As a member of NAEYC and Georgia Association of Educators I will continue to advocate for children and families with the passion they deserve.

Hello! My name is Michele Jackson, and I am thrilled to be joining the Kiddie Academy family! With over 20 years of experience in management, I have had the privilege of serving as a center director in Alpharetta, Georgia, where I managed the daily operations of one school, as well as a senior director overseeing multiple locations. In that position I was responsible to manage all aspects of the Preschool, including Family engagement, Enrollment management, customer relations, quality control and facility management. I have a deep passion for working with and nurturing children, and nothing brings me more joy than seeing their faces light up when they learn something new. As the Director, please know that my door is always open for any questions, comments, or concerns you may have. I look forward to working with all of you and getting to know both you and your wonderful children!

Welcome to Kiddie Academy of Cumming! I have worked with children of all ages for the past 20 years and it has been an adventure. From leading campers through the forests of Arizona to providing fun programs for cruising families on the high seas, I developed my passion for teaching. For the past 12 years I lived in Georgia and have expanded my experience in the classroom. Learning is such a life-long journey, and I am so excited to be helping your child start along their path at our school. I love that every time I am teaching, I am also learning something new. As the school’s Curriculum Coordinator, I work with all the teachers to make sure every classroom has the best learning environment and activities to help each child get the most out of school. When I am not at school, I enjoy exploring nature and reading a good book.
