Meet the Owners

Katie Moore

As the parents of two children, I struggled to find a satisfactory day care. During my search I decided to embark on my lifelong dream of owning a business and fell in love with Kiddie Academy. Kiddie Academy possesses all of the qualities that I was looking for with caring teachers, a fun atmosphere and strong curriculum. I help oversee the day to day operations at our Bolingbrook, Darien and Oak Park locations and am working on opening additional locations. I am very active with the Kiddie Academy corporate office in developing exciting changes to programs nationwide. Our children are our greatest blessing and during their time at Kiddie Academy, they received a well-rounded education while building on their personality and growth; all while having fun and making new friends! We thank you for choosing Kiddie Academy and I promise to give your children the same experience and treatment

Olga Glikis

I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and have almost 20 years of experience teaching and directing in the Early Childhood field. I am passionate about bringing the absolute best early educational program to children and families, and I do so by maintaining strong relationships with our students, their families and our teachers. I look forward to getting to know your family, and I cannot wait to provide the best possible childcare at Kiddie Academy of Darien.

Meet Our Team

Alyssa Sajdak

Assistant Director

I have been working with children since 2015, with experience in both early childhood education settings and individual therapy supporting children with autism. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Disability Studies from Aurora University and hold an endorsement in Early Childhood Education. I have achieved my Level 5 in Early Childhood Education as well as Director Level 1 certification. From a young age, I have had a passion for teaching and a strong desire to help others. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is watching children reach their developmental milestones and celebrating the small but meaningful joys along the way. I especially enjoy seeing children’s imaginations grow as they explore, create, and express themselves in the classroom. Building strong relationships with families is very important to me. I strive to create a welcoming, trusting environment where families feel supported, informed, and confident in their child’

Nikki Lewandowski

Program Director

I have been in the early childhood education field for the past 15 years as both a teacher and administrator. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Illinois State University in education and psychology. I also earned my Masters degree in Early Childhood Administration from National Louis University as well as the Illinois Director Credential Level 3, Early Childhood Credential Level 5, and Infant Toddler Credential Level 2. Early on in my life, I always saw myself as an elementary education teacher, however I found my love of the little ones when I got my first job at a child care center teaching Pre-K. I love the amazement on their faces when they learn something new and their ability to be silly. I truly believe that children learn best through their play in a loving and nurturing environment. I love getting to know our families and look forward to creating strong relationships within our school!
