Joceline Viera

Academy Assistant Director

"Hi, I’m Joceline, Assistant Director at Kiddie Academy of Fleming Island. I’m a proud wife and mom of two girls who inspire my passion for early childhood education every day. With over 20 years in the field, I began as a teacher’s aide and worked my way up, earning a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, a Director Credential, and completing DCF 45 training hours. I’m also CPR and First Aid certified. I love crafting, planting, and reading in my free time—activities that reflect the creativity and care I bring into the classroom. I’m excited to work alongside our incredible staff to create a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for our students and families. One of my favorite quotes is, 'It starts from within,' and I truly believe that when we lead with heart, everything else follows".

My name is Karen Hamilton. I was born and raised in Louisiana and moved to Florida in 2016. I’ve been working in elementary/preschool education since my move here. I hold a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in education. Working in early childhood education helps keep me young at heart and looking at life with a fresh perspective every day.
