Summer is almost here, and at Kiddie Academy of Franklin we are getting ready for a season full of imagination, exploration, creativity, and fun! Our 2026 Summer Camp Program, running May 18 through August 14, is packed with exciting weekly themes, hands-on activities, special visitors, water play, and memorable experiences for children of all ages.

Each week brings a new adventure designed to keep children engaged, learning, and having fun all summer long. From outdoor exploration and science activities to creative arts and culinary experiences, campers will enjoy a summer full of meaningful play and discovery.

Some of this year’s exciting themes and activities include:

• Camping & Outdoor Adventure Week featuring tent building, scavenger hunts, camp trail mix, and beach-themed fun
• Zoology Week with reptile obstacle courses, aquarium crafts, and a special visit to the Nashville Zoo
• Ecology Week including rainforest taste tests, pelican games, and seed bomb creations
• Culinary Arts Week where campers will make yogurt parfaits, churn butter, bake mini fruit pizzas, and enjoy picnic lunches
• Creative Arts Week filled with tie dye, edible paint, magic shows, and collaborative mural projects
• Around the World Week exploring global cultures through activities like Hawaiian luaus, didgeridoo making, and colors of Holi celebrations
• Fantasy & Superhero Week with fairy tale theater, treasure hunts, superhero training camp, and a virtual Disney World field trip
• Paleontology Week featuring fossil excavations, dinosaur visits, dinosaur eggs, and take-home dino creations

We are also excited to offer special visitors and field trip experiences throughout the summer, including park rangers, Goldfish Swim School, Booster the Rooster, and the Discovery Center Murfreesboro Mobile Field Trip.

Our summer camp program is designed with flexibility for families in mind. We offer both full-time and part-time enrollment options, as well as drop in care for ages 2-9 and our hours reflect our regular hours of operation from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Families can also enjoy our popular Water Days throughout the summer to help campers stay cool while having fun in the sun!
