Celebrating a Year of Achievements at Kiddie Academy of Gaithersburg

As the year draws to a close, we find ourselves filled with pride and gratitude for the incredible journey we’ve shared at Kiddie Academy of Gaithersburg. It has been a year of joy, learning and community building that has left a clear mark on each child, educator, and family that has graced our learning center.
Empowering Every Day
Our commitment is to truly be a community that nurtures, educates, and inspires children for the future. Throughout the year, we’ve celebrated diversity through the faces of our wonderful staff members and the children who bring unique perspectives into our classroom. Rooted in the belief that education should be an adventure, our innovative approach fosters a love for learning from the very beginning. Through a blend of hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and a nurturing environment, we aim to inspire curiosity and creativity. We are so proud of our educators who have brought joy and growth to our students daily!
Community Bonds and Shared Experiences
Beyond the classroom, our community bonds have grown stronger. Family and community days allowed parents to join their children in the learning experience, fostering a sense of togetherness. We took pride in supporting our community through various initiatives, from fundraisers to toy drives and our Annual art Auction. Collaborating with local businesses and charities, we aimed to make a positive impact beyond the walls of our academy.
From our interactive STEMVentures event and weekly performances during our CampVentures season to our Story Time Live event and Fall Festival, our year has been filled with excitement. Through our community events, we have been able to promote literacy, science, art, all while fostering a sense of togetherness. We are thankful to our families who have exerted energy with participation in our Trunk or Treats, the Family Library Scavenger Hunt, the Family Theatre, and more! They are an integral part of what makes our community so great!
We were humbled and honored to be recognized by the Germantown-Gaithersburg Chamber of Commerce as the Mid-Size Business of the Year. This award acknowledges not only our growth, but also the thriving community that surrounds us. It motivates us to continue to provide exceptional early childhood education. Also, we are proud of our amazing educators. Our infant educator, Mrs. Ruthie was nominated for the Kiddie Academy Teacher of the Year: Mid-Atlantic Region, and three of our other educators, Ms. Aaryanna, Mrs. Azra, and Mr. Sean were nominated for The Montgomery County Early Care and Education Excellence Award! Our fantastic Director, Ms. Angela, was also nominated for this award!
Along with providing quality education, our goal this year was to support staff development and well-being. With new initiatives including engaging professional and wellness challenges, personalized professional development plans, a foundation for a collaborative and supportive environment for educators was secured. This collective achievement underscores the dedication to excellence at Kiddie Academy of Gaithersburg and its ongoing commitment to fostering highly skilled educators. Congratulations to the entire Kiddie Academy community for a year of impactful grow and development.
As we reflect on the year gone by, we are filled with gratitude for the trust and support of our families and the dedication to our staff. Together, we’ve created a community where learning is a shared adventure, and growth is celebrated not just academically but also as individuals and families.
