Dedication and Community Impact: Exceptional Volunteer Award

This fall, Kiddie Academy of Gaithersburg proudly celebrates one of our own, Riley Black, for receiving the Exceptional Volunteer Award from the Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce (GGCC). Riley’s recognition highlights her generosity, dedication, and meaningful impact on the community.
Riley actively contributes to the GGCC Young Professionals Group (YPG), attending committee meetings and supporting a variety of Chamber initiatives. She offers her time and energy to help with projects and shares insight and enthusiasm that inspire fellow Chamber members.
She also plays a key role in welcoming new members, working with her Kiddie Academy team to create engaging and memorable experiences. Together, they organize and deliver baskets raffled during seasonal new member orientations, ensuring every newcomer feels connected, informed, and supported. Riley’s collaborative approach makes a meaningful difference in how new members experience the Chamber.
Beyond these efforts, Riley represents Kiddie Academy at Ribbon Cuttings and partners with local businesses to promote awareness and foster community connections. She attends events with dedication and professionalism, always highlighting Kiddie Academy positively. Her outreach strengthens community bonds and encourages meaningful partnerships.
