EquiCare Grant Funding Awarded to Kiddie Academy of Gaithersburg

At Kiddie Academy of Gaithersburg, our mission has always been to nurture, educate and inspire children while supporting the families who entrust with their care. We are excited to share the Kiddie Academy of Gaithersburg has been awarded funding through Montgomery County’s EquiCare Grant program, an initiative designed to increase access to high-quality infant and toddler child care for eligible families. 

 

The EquiCare Grant is a Montgomery County initiative that helps eligible families access infant and toddler child care by providing financial assistance through participating child care providers. The program was created to help bridge financial assistance for families how may not qualify for other child care assistance programs but still face the significant cost of quality early childhood education. 

 

For qualifying families, EquiCare funding may help reduce the financial burden of child care during some of the most important developmental years of a child’s life. Access to affordable high-quality care can allow parents to pursue career opportunities, continue their education, or simply gain peace of mind knowing their child is in a safe, nurturing, and education environment. 

 

Receiving EquiCare funding represents an exciting opportunity to expand access to high-quality early learning experiences for more families in our community.
