We’re Offically NAEYC Accredited!

We are proud to announce that Kiddie Academy of Hillsborough is now NAEYC accredited!

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the gold standard in early childhood education, promoting high-quality learning for children from birth through age 8. Achieving this accreditation requires a rigorous process of self-study, review, and evaluation by leaders in the field, ensuring that our practices and facilities meet or exceed nationally recognized standards.

This recognition reflects our commitment to excellence and aligns us with nearly 60,000 members and 52 affiliates who share the mission of delivering the highest quality early learning.

This achievement is a tremendous honor and milestone for our Academy, made possible by the dedication of our amazing teachers and staff. We are truly grateful to them and to all our families for the support that helped us reach this standard of excellence.

WHY DOES IT MATTER?

NAEYC (the National Association for the Education of Young Children) is the leading professional organization setting research-based standards for early learning quality. Accreditation is a comprehensive, independent review of a program’s practices – spanning health & safety, teaching, curriculum, assessment, leadership, family partnership, and continuous improvement to ensure children thrive socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively.

How this benefits our families and community:

  • Proven quality you can trust: Accreditation validates that our practices align with the nation’s most respected standards for early learning quality.
  • Whole-child growth: Our curriculum and teaching intentionally support social–emotional skills, language and literacy, math and science exploration, creativity, and physical development.
  • Safe, nurturing environment: Robust health & safety procedures, educator qualifications, and warm, responsive relationships are verified through the accreditation process.
  • Family partnership: We collaborate with families through communication, goal-setting, and culturally responsive practices—because you are your child’s first and most important teacher.
  • Continuous improvement: Accreditation isn’t a one-time milestone; it’s our ongoing commitment to measure, reflect, and keep getting better.
