Kiddie Academy of Itasca

My name is Maria Miller.I received my Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I went on to get my Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Science from National Louis University. I have been in the early childhood field for over 20 years. I joined the Kiddie Academy Team in 2019 as a Lead Preschool Teacher. Between 2019 and 2023 I have been an educational coordinator, assistant director, and director at multiple locations. I have 2 children; a 13-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son and 2 cats, Howard and Robin I love Kiddie Academy’s curriculum and truly believe that it is the best place for educational childcare. My absolute favorite part of our curriculum is our social-emotional program, called Character Essentials.  This program helps kids see the importance of positive social skills. The goal is to develop a whole child and help each child become a good citizen. I look forward to meeting all of you! I am looking forward to all the amazing fun-filled years we have ahead.
