As a loving mom and passionate early childhood educator, Heather understands what families seek in quality childcare, preschool, and daycare. Heather lives in vibrant Lake Nona and loves calling it home. Both of her young children are happily enrolled here, learning and growing in our nurturing environment alongside your little ones! With a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science, Florida Director and Staff Credentials, and extensive experience leading childcare programs—including VPK and School Readiness—Heather creates a safe, fun, enriching space for play-based learning and individualized care.   Her warm hospitality background ensures every family feels welcomed and supported. Heather can't wait to meet you, tour our facility, and make Kiddie Academy your child's happy second home!

Melissa Nieves

Oviedo Daycare Regional Director

Melissa Nieves is a dedicated Regional Child Care Director with over 12 years of experience in early childhood education and 7 years in management. She specializes in training teams, streamlining operations, and supporting preschool centers in delivering high-quality, nurturing learning environments. Melissa’s leadership focuses on compliance, staff development, and fostering strong relationships with families and communities.  As a mother and wife, Melissa brings a personal, compassionate perspective to her role. She understands the importance of early learning and works to ensure every child receives the care and education they deserve. Her background in child development and hands-on center management allows her to lead with empathy, efficiency, and excellence.  Melissa is passionate about mentoring educators, improving operational performance, and promoting a culture of growth and collaboration across all locations. She is committed to building strong foundations for young learners and setting her teams up for long-term success our Oviedo Daycare.

Vivian Silva

Daycare Curriculum and Food Program Manager

Vivian da Silva brings over 25 years of experience in child care and early childhood education, combining deep knowledge of child development with a passion for nurturing young learners. She earned her bachelor’s degree in education in Brazil and holds advanced training in childcare management. Vivian is committed to creating safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environments where children can grow and thrive. As a dedicated daycare educator, mother, and wife, Vivian understands the importance of building strong relationships with both children and families. Her warm, supportive approach fosters trust and encourages lifelong learning. She believes that quality early learning lays the foundation for future success and is proud to contribute to that journey every day. Outside of her professional work, Vivian enjoys traveling and spending quality time with friends and family. Her love for culture and connection inspires her work and enriches the lives of the children and teams she supports.
