*Official* State of Texas Proclamation

Kiddie Academy of Mercer Crossing received a Proclamation from the State of Texas by Representative Salman Bhojani.

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Kiddie Academy of Mercer Crossing in Farmers Branch is celebrating its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 21, 2024; and

WHEREAS, Kiddie Academy of Mercer Crossing is part of the national Kiddie Academy system, which has provided families child care services and early learning opportunities since 1981; co-owned by Samina and Sean Hooda and Nimira and Ali Gowani, the Farmers Branch franchise broke ground at Mercer Parkway on April 17, 2023; the 12,000-square-foot campus features 12 classrooms, an outdoor learning center, an atrium lobby, a secure playground, and an indoor play area; and

WHEREAS, Serving children from six weeks to six years of age, Kiddie Academy of Mercer Crossing offers a holistic curriculum that promotes character development and equips youth with the tools they need to achieve academic success when they begin attending school; the academy also works to ensure the health and safety of all its participants, and it collaborates with parents to build customized learning experiences for each child; in addition, the skilled members of the academy’s staff participate in ongoing training programs; and

WHEREAS, A welcome addition to the Farmers Branch community, Kiddie Academy of Mercer Crossing will provide countless young Texans with a strong foundation on which to build, and it is a pleasure to join in recognizing the vision, dedication, and hard work of those who helped bring this endeavor to fruition; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Kiddie Academy of Mercer Crossing be commemorated and that all those associated with the campus be extended sincere best wishes for the future.
