Shannon is Associate Director at Kiddie Academy of Monroe and has dedicated more than 21 years to the field of education. With a strong commitment to supporting children during their most critical years of development. Shannon brings deep expertise, warmth and leadership to her role. As a proud mother of two grown sons, ages 26 and 25, she understands the lifelong impact of early learning and strives to create nuturing, engaging for every child in her care. One of her favorite childghood books, Goodnight by Margaret Wise Brown, continues to inspire her passon for early litteracy and meaningful connection in the classroom. Shannon work is guided by her belief that early education lays the foundation for future success and she is dedicated helping children to helping grow, explore and thrive every day.

For the past two years, Ms. Emili has dedicated herself to nurturing young learners as a preK teacher. With a natural warmth and enthusiasm, she creates a classroom environment where curiosity and creativity flourish. Her teaching philosophy centers on the belief that every child deserves to feel valued, supported, and inspired to explore the world around them. Known for her patience and kindness, she delights in guiding her students through their earliest educational experiences, celebrating each milestone with genuine joy. Beyond academics, she emphasizes social and emotional growth, helping children build confidence, empathy, and resilience. Her students often describe her as someone who makes learning fun, while parents appreciate her commitment to fostering a safe, welcoming space. Teaching is more than a profession for Ms. Emili—it is a calling. She loves her students deeply and takes pride in shaping the foundation of their lifelong learning journey. 

Kaitlyn DiRico

Head Teacher

Kaitlyn brings warmth, leadership, and a passion for early childhood education into every classroom as a head teacher. With five years of hands-on experience in childcare, she has worked closely with children of all ages, supporting their social, emotional, and academic growth. She has also successfully run a summer camp program, creating engaging activities that encouraged creativity, teamwork, and confidence. Kaitlyn is known for her energetic and happy spirit, she creates a loving and caring environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. Kaitlyn truly loves children and finds joy in watching them grow, reach milestones, and discover their unique strengths. Her approach combines structure with compassion, helping children build strong foundations for lifelong learning. Kaitlyn believes every child deserves patience, encouragement, and genuine care, and she is dedicated to making each child’s early learning experience positive, meaningful, and memorable for every family.
