Meet the Owners

Dr. Kimberly Smith

I’m excited to bring 30 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Leadership to our Kiddie Academy. My journey began as a classroom teacher and grew into roles as a center director and later, executive leadership positions supporting educators, families, and young children at both local and statewide levels. I’ve also spent over a decade teaching Early Childhood Education at the college level and am a published children’s book author, blending my passion for literacy with child development. I’m eager to combine my educational expertise and hands-on experience with thoughtful, strategic leadership. Above all, I’m committed to fostering safe, nurturing, and inspiring environments where both children and staff can flourish!

Sedrick Spencer

I’m a government affairs executive with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of business and public policy. As Vice President of Government Relations at Paramount Global, I lead political strategy across 48 states, building bipartisan relationships and navigating complex legislative environments. Previously, I held senior roles at Biogen, Celgene, and Genentech, where I advanced advocacy initiatives, expanded Medicaid access, and strengthened healthcare partnerships. I began my career in the California State Legislature and am recognized for strategic insight and effective stakeholder engagement. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s in Public Administration from California State University. I’m also deeply passionate about early childhood education. Through my investment in Kiddie Academy, I aim to help create safe, enriching environments for children and support working families. For me, it’s more than a business—it’s a mission to empower communities and nurture the next generation of leaders.
