Kiddie Academy of Paradise Hills Earns NAEYC Accreditation

I am proud to announce that Kiddie Academy of Paradise Hills has been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Accreditation tells your family that a child care center provides high-quality childhood education in a safe environment. It gives you peace of mind in knowing your children are receiving early care and education that prepares them for success in school and in life.

Child care accreditation is a measure of quality assurance, validated by a third party that a provider’s practices and facilities meet or exceed established standards. NAEYC is a professional organization of association comprised of nearly 60,000 individual members of the early childhood community and 52 affiliates, all committed to delivering on the promise of high-quality early learning. NAEYC accreditation is considered the gold standard for excellence in the field of early childhood education.

Accreditation requires the completion of a rigorous and comprehensive period of self-study involving administrators, staff and parents. The self-study identifies program strengths and areas for continued improvement; and a development plan is established to map out goals and strategies for program enhancement. Once the self-study is completed, a team of independent evaluators, representing leaders in the field of early childhood education, conducts an on-site visit to determine whether the program meets or exceeds accreditation standards and established quality indicators and, ultimately, merits accreditation.

When an Academy receives accreditation, here are just a few things it signals to families:

We’re looking forward to continuing to provide the best educational child care possible to our community!
