Ayesha Ali is the owner of the Kiddie Academy of Reston. She is a graduate of George Mason University and switched over 5 years ago from a successful career in technology to pursue her true passion in early childhood development. Her struggle to find quality child care with a strong focus on academics for her own 2 children led her to establishing a child care from her basement. She successfully ran her home child care with a waiting list for 3 years before partnering with Kiddie Academy to expand into a state-of-the-art facility with all the best practices, amenities and services parents were requesting frequently. In addition to ensuring an environment that is safe and conducive to learning she continues to be on the lookout for the next SMART Board, tablet, or iPhone app that can be leveraged by parents to enhance the learning experience for their young children.

Anne Swift has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Southern Illinois University with over twenty years of work experience from a wide variety of preschool centers. She is extremely knowledgeable regarding licensing policies with the Virginia Department of Education. She has always been able to receive outstanding commendations from licensing visits. Anne considers herself a lifelong learner who is always trying to improve herself. She has received certificates and certifications in Medication Administration Training (MAT), First Aid, CPR, ServSafe food handler, VQB5 and other related credentials. On a personal note, Anne grew up in a military family where she moved every three years. She has lived in such places as Texas, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Germany and finally in Northern Virginia where she graduated from Oakton High School in Vienna VA. She has two sisters (one being an identical twin) that both live in Haymarket, VA and a brother who lives in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Anne is also very involved in community activities and active in her church where she is responsible for the oversight of the education department for the pre-school age up to high school. She also assumes the responsibility of teaching the third and fourth grade classes and has previously served on the church council. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the movies and spending time with family and friends, especially at Lake Anna.
