With a lifelong passion for nurturing young minds, I have dedicated my career to early childhood education. My journey began at the age of 12, caring for the nursery at my church, and continued through high school as an aid for Pre-K and kindergarten classes. Volunteering at a local daycare until I turned 18, I then transitioned into an official role and have since accumulated over 15 years of experience as a preschool teacher. Since 2000, I have embraced various roles within the childcare industry, from teacher to director, each enriching my understanding and expertise in providing exceptional educational and nurturing environments for children. As the Director of Kiddie Academy of Rosenberg, I am thrilled to bring my passion and commitment to early childhood education to our community. I am a advocate for children, believing that they learn best through intentional play, acquiring the skills necessary for success in school and life. My dedication lies in collaborating closely with our professional team of teachers to set high developmental goals for our students. My top priority is always the children, striving to create a loving and homely atmosphere at our school, making it a true home away from home for our families.      Hi, I'm Merissa, and I'm thrilled to be the Assistant Director at Kiddie Academy. As a mother of four, I understand the importance of quality childcare and have dedicated over ten years to this field. I joined Kiddie Academy in the fall of 2020, starting out in the classroom. During the challenging times of COVID-19, I transitioned into a management role, and in August 2023, I was honored to be promoted to Assistant Director. I believe that every child deserves a nurturing and stimulating environment where they can thrive. My goal is to provide individualized attention and foster a love for learning from an early age. I am passionate about ensuring that every child feels valued and supported, and I strive to implement innovative educational practices that cater to the unique needs of each child. Early childhood education is the foundation for lifelong success, and I am committed to building strong partnerships with families and the community. Together, we can create a holistic and enriching experience for all children at Kiddie Academy.
