Kiddie Academy of Sanford-Heathrow

My name is Ms. Amanda and I am the Director of Kiddie Academy of Sanford-Heathrow. I came into Early Childhood Education fresh out of high school, many years ago. I immediately knew I wanted to be a preschool teacher. I have had the privilege of working with all age groups with my specialization in VPK. I possess a true passion for teaching children and help them develop to the best of their ability. Being in the classroom for over 10 years, I have gained the knowledge and perspective of what is required to provide a quality childcare program. I have also been a mentor to those completing their CDA program. I believe my experiences as a teacher, mentor, office manager and assistant director has given me the insight to implement and build programs designed to bring the very best out of our program. My goal is to actively work with all the people who truly make our center excel-the students, the families, and the staff.
