Meet Our Team

Elizabeth Maklowski

Center Director
I grew up in Massachusetts and attended Westfield State University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology while minoring in Women’s Studies and Communications. For several years, I was employed as a Nanny, before being hired as a Toddler Teacher at Kiddie Academy’s location in Hoboken where I received Teacher of the Year for 2016. I soon relocated to the Secaucus location as Assistant Director of Education and am currently the Center Director. I am passionate about Early Childhood Education and believe learning should be fun!

Melanie Egnatowicz

Assistant Director of Education
I have been working with children for a total of 15 years. I began with babysitting children of family and friends and progressed into the childcare environment in 2011. I have enjoyed every minute molding the minds of the children and helping them reach each and every appropriate milestone. I have an AA in Early Childhood Education and a BA in Family and Child Studies from Montclair State University and I am P-3 Certified in the state of NJ. My heart has always lead me to children. The knowledge that I helped them prepare for the next chapter in their young lives has always been a reward and a blessing for me. Recently, I became the assistant director of education, where I am looking forward to strengthening the implementation of the life essentials curriculum.
