Jamila Layton

Academy Director

Jamila Layton is the Academy Director of Kiddie Academy of Stone Mountain, bringing over a decade of hands-on experience in early childhood education. She holds an Associate’s in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Educational Leadership, and is a certified trainer for early childhood educators. Jamila has worked in classrooms across age groups, mentoring teachers and building strong foundations for children and families. Currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, she’s passionate about supporting the whole child, emotionally, socially, and academically. Her leadership blends heart and strategy, cultivating a nurturing environment where educators thrive and children flourish. At Kiddie Academy, Jamila champions the brand’s commitment to Life Essentials®, ensuring every child is prepared for school and life through a joyful, engaging, and developmentally rich experience.
