Aleah Kassner

Assistant Director

I am Aleah Kassner. I was born and raised in Middletown Ohio. I graduated from Miami University of Ohio with an associate degree in Pre-Kindergarten Education in 2004. I grew up with a mother who was a teacher, so I have been exposed to educators from a young age. I have been working in childcare since 2001. I have been a Pre-K teacher, School age and Preschool teacher.  I have 6 years of management experience including being a director of a center in Ohio. My two sons and I moved to North Carolina in 2022. I have been working for Kiddie Academy since November 2022.

Khalia Williams

Curriculum Coordinator

I am Khalia Williams, born and raised in Durham, NC. I graduated from North Carolina Central University with a B.S. in Biology. Later I completed my Certification in Early Childhood Education. I fell in love with teaching in January 2012, volunteering in the Children’s nursery at my church. I began working with two-year-olds in 2016 until the birth of my son in 2022. I joined Kiddie Academy in May 2023 where I have two sons enrolled. I have a passion for serving our teachers and helping them be successful in the classroom. 

Vanessa Adams

Director

I am Vanessa Adams, a Durham, NC native and graduate of North Carolina Central University with a B.A. in Psychology and the NC Early Childhood Administration Credential. With 30 years of experience in early childhood education, including roles as a support staff, Lead Teacher, Assistant Director, and Director-I have developed 20 years of management expertise. Since July 2021, I have served as Director at Kiddie Academy of Wake Forest, where I am dedicated to fostering a safe, nurturing environment that supports children’s growth and development. I am passionate about engaging with children, educators, and families to promote educational, social, physical, and emotional well-being. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, movies, shopping, and spending time with my family.
