Kiddie Academy of Windsor to host Safety Day with community partners

Kiddie Academy of Windsor invites the community to its first Safety Day event next month.

The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 18 at the educational child care center at 4701 Oakmont St. in Windsor.

Safety Day will feature local business partners who make the community safe, according to a Facebook post from the academy. These partners will have booths containing resources and tips for families on keeping their children safe and healthy.

Visitors can also explore the academy and its “Life Essentials” curriculum through an open house and tours. The curriculum exceeds the state’s early learning and development guidelines in math, language and literacy, science, approaches to learning and more.

Kiddie Academy of Windsor opened its doors in April as the first Northern Colorado location of a nationwide franchise called Kiddie Academy Educational Child Care.

The academy, which serves more than 170 children from ages 6 weeks to 12 years old, utilizes over 30 community partners to develop children beyond its curriculum.
