Claudia Dario

Academy Director

Hello, my name is Ms. Claudia, and I am the Director of Kiddie Academy of Winter Park. With over 30 years of experience in education, my journey began in Brazil before I moved to the U.S. 26 years ago. After earning a bachelor's degree in business administration and an MBA, I returned to school to pursue my passion for early childhood education, obtaining my early childhood credentials. I’ve taught students from 6th grade to preschool, but it was in the preschool classroom where I truly discovered my passion for nurturing young minds. I believe that the early years are critical in shaping a child's future, and I am committed to creating an environment where every child can thrive and explore their potential. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and enjoy bringing the community together.

Nina Colon

Assistant Director

My Name is Nina Colon, originally from Salinas, Puerto Rico moved to Florida in 2010. I have my 45 DCF Hours, CPR & First Aid and Currently Working on my Child Development Associate Credential and my plan is to continue my education in Early Childhood. My Early childhood career started in 2013 as a Floater and that same year was promoted to a Toddler Lead Teacher until 2022. The reason I am in Early Childhood is to be part of the children's milestones and growth that makes me feel proud of the work we do. My goal is to provide a safe, healthy, loving, and fun educational environment for the children to grow, as well as creating a community where everyone feels welcomed.
