Allison McClaugherty

Hello, hello! My name is Allison McClaugherty, the owner here at Kiddie Academy of Apex. My passion for early childhood education began when I started working as a nanny in college. During that time, I met my husband and we had our three wonderful children; Kari (age 6), Ellie (age 4), and Kassidy (age 2). I switched gears in college and got my Bachelor of Science in Education from NC State. I am currently pursuing a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education with an estimated completion of Fall 2024. My children were a driving force in my decision to franchise with Kiddie Academy. I discovered Kiddie Academy while researching countless options for my little ones and fell in love with Kiddie Academy's well-rounded approach to early childhood education. Wendi Boggess brings 40 years of experience in early childhood education and a lifelong passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive. As our Center Director, she is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels valued and every family feels supported. Throughout her career, Wendi has successfully led high-quality early learning programs, mentored teachers, strengthened family partnerships, and maintained the highest standards of care and educational excellence. She believes every child deserves the opportunity to build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning through meaningful experiences each day. Wendi is excited to welcome your family to Kiddie Academy and looks forward to partnering with you to provide an exceptional foundation for your child's future.
