Meet the Owner
Nirali Patel
My husband, Pinakin Patel, and I are the owners of this center. We live locally in Howard County and are grateful for the opportunity to run our own Child Care Learning Center, Kiddie Academy of Elkridge. We are so excited to be a part of a small community at our center. Our children are a part of our everyday lives and we make every effort to make them feel comfortable at Kiddie Academy of Elkridge. Our goal is to make Kiddie Academy of Elkridge a second home for our children, our parents, and our staff.
I am the Managing Member of Kiddie Academy of Elkridge, which means I am responsible for the day-to-day activities of our center. I have a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Bio-Chemistry from USP, and Philadelphia based university, and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Baltimore, MD. As the Managing Member, I collaborate with Kiddie Academy corporate and local agencies to identify and meet the childcare needs of families in our community. My daily activities range from, but not limited to, being a teacher, nurse, friend, psychologist, advisor, trainer, business owner, filing specialist, cook, and interpreter at the center. I am a very goal oriented and set very high expectations for myself, my children, and my staff.
Pinakin Patel, a veteran Air Force Capitan, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Rutgers University, NJ and a Master of Science (MS) in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia, VA. Pinakin operated the Intelligence Section of Northrop Grumman’s Enterprise Solutions Division with 70 plus personnel that report directly to him. He took his experience from Northrop and decided to branch out to form his own company. Pinakin is currently the owner of a growing IT firm, IT Concepts, INC., and manages multiple contracts along with employees and sub-contractors.
We both enjoy what we do because we know that the trust given to us is not given lightly. Whatever roles we are asked to balance in a particular day are roles that we cherish. Many times the job is not simple and requires long hours, hard work, patience, and the ability to look at a floor requiring mopping and a classroom put out of order with tremendous amount of cleaning up to do and just laugh and get it done. We have trusted our children, Ryan & Sanya, with the same staff members that we ask you to and are appreciative of the opportunity. Both our children are graduates of or our sister Academy in Elkridge and have thrived throughout school. They were more than ready for elementary school.
