Elaine Ho

Owner & Manager

Elaine is the on-site owner of Kiddie Academy of Cambridge. You can find her at the Academy during normal business hours. Prior to opening Kiddie Academy of Cambridge, Elaine had a steadily rising career as a fully-qualified Actuary in corporate America. Having two daughters of her own, she realized how difficult it was to find quality childcare for her children in the Boston area and actually get two spots for her daughters with caregivers she loves. After rushing out the door every morning to drop off her children in time to go to work and rushing from the office every evening to try to pick up her daughters on time for over two years, she decided she wanted to open her own childcare center to provide services to working parents, especially working moms like herself, that will make their lives easier. Emmy

Program Director

Emmy is our Program Director. Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Emmy has over 10 years of experience in the Early Childhood field. She earned her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at Lesley University, and believes it truly takes a village to raise a child. Emmy loves Cambridge’s rich and diverse community. She is especially passionate about Kiddie Academy’s curriculum and its focus on the six Character Essentials outcomes: Character, Confidence, Curiosity, Connection, Critical Thinking, and Creative Expression. Emmy loves continuously learning—both in and out of the classroom. Her favorite children’s books include The Napping House by Audrey Wood, Not A Box by Antoinette Portis, and Same Same But Different by Jenny Sue Kotescki-Shaw. In her free time, Emmy enjoys event planning, traveling, and making self-care items such as candles and bath salts.
