“The genuine care and affection the staff at Kiddie Academny of Centreville show for my son is way beyond what I expected from a day care center! Every staff member greets my son by name with a smile and often with a little "inside joke" they have with him daily. Even the staff members who are not in his classroom every day because they are floaters know his name. My son is slow to warm up to others, so his high comfort level with the adults at Kiddie Academy is a testament to the quality of care. Also, at his age (toddler), the head teacher, Maryum, could easily just have the kids playing with the same toys every day. However, she goes above and beyond by planning daily age-appropriate academic activities to provide the class with unusual sensory experiences, like scooping slippery blue spaghetti, and opportunities to practice skills like gluing, painting, shape identification, etc. His other main teacher, Mimi, enriches the kids' experience at Kiddie Academy by singing songs in Spanish. She treats my son and our family with such affection, we feel like she is another grandmother! The directors, Elijah and Dan, are always professional, friendly, and very flexible. The college students working in the classrooms, particularly NaYoung and Jessica, always conduct themselves in a professional manner and put the same amount of effort or more into their jobs as a full time teacher does. We are absolutely thrilled with our Kiddie Academy of Centreville Experience so far!”
