   "With nearly 20 years of experience as a Business and HR Leader, I know that people are the most important resource of any orgaization.  I'm really excited to bring together my passion for business and experience as a caring leader, with my desire to help nurture and develope our communities next generation of leaders, craftspeople, caregivers, and profesionals. I'm particularly proud to be sharing this journey with my lovely wife of 23 years, Della Ramsey.  I'm blesssed beyond measure to have her and my two kids, Leah (12) and Logan (9) in my life.  On top of that, I love to have fun, and I'm guessing there might be some teachers, parents and kiddos that want to have some fun too." - Jon                                                                                                                                                                       Jon grew up in Ireland, West Virgina.  After High School, he entered the military and served in the US Air Force and the Air National Guard. He attended Glenville State College where he obtained his Bachelor of Business Management degree (and meet his soulmate Della).  They married after graduation and Jon then attended West Virgina Univerity and recieved a Master of Science degree in Industrial Relations (HR).  After graduation Jon worked for several large companies,  in several different locations across the US.    

At a young age, I knew I wanted to work with young children. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education, a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education, and a School Library Media Graduate Certificate. My philosophy is to never stop learning. I have now worked with children for over 20 years in many different capacities including teaching in a public school setting as well as child care centers. I also have several years of experience with administration of child care centers. Throughout the years, I have learned that child care needs go beyond learning. Before children learn, they must feel comfortable in a safe and healthy environment. When a child feels safe and healthy, that environment positively fosters children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. I feel that a positive environment is needed in order for children to fully understand love, encouragement, and respect. My commitment to our parents is that I will treat your child as my own and work with you to understand your individual goals for your child. I will provide you with support and knowledge through the different stages of your child’s development. I can’t wait to welcome you to our Kiddie Academy family!
