Ms. Elayne has spent her entire career working with and for young children and their families. As a teacher she enjoyed the learning process of children, their bright eyed wonderment at the world and how it worked. Watching children grow and develop, mastering skills and milestones in their life was a rewarding step in laying the foundation for a lifelong dedication to early childhood education.Making a difference in the life of a child, whether that be as a teacher or school manager has always been Elayne’s passion. Knowing at the end of each day that the children in her care are safe, happy, and have had fun is job satisfaction number one! Ensuring that the parents are satisfied and feel a family connection through open lines of communication to their school is job satisfaction number two!!Providing on the job training and support to teachers is another one of Elayne’s professional priorities. Developing teachers with ongoing education and classroom support through observations and feedback, along with developing a strong sense of teamwork is job satisfaction number three!!!Elayne studied at Grossmont College in Early Childhood Education and worked as a preschool teacher in San Diego, CA. to develop her teaching skills. After four years of teaching young children, she became a center director where she managed schools varying in size from 60 – 200 children. Elayne opened several schools over the next 12 years for her company, filled them to capacity, gained national accreditation (NAEYC), and maintained licensing standards. In 2000, she became a district manager for KinderCare outside of the Los Angeles area where she oversaw 16 - 18 schools. In 2006, Elayne and her husband, Doug, relocated to Lake St. Louis, MO, where she continued her position with KinderCare. In 2012, her family relocated to Atlanta, GA for one year--during that time she held the position of Quality Assurance Specialist with Kids ‘R’ Kids Inc. In 2014, they returned to Lake St. Louis and that's when Elayne joined Kiddie Academy as the director of the O’Fallon location. To contact Elayne, please e-mail email@example.com.

Tom is a father and grandfather who knows what it’s like to have a little hand reach for his, and loves to hear the inquisitive questions asked by young children. He has been asked on many occasions why he has chosen to go into the child care business. His response is “because early childhood education is where children begin developing their foundation for how they will live as lifelong learners.” Professionally, Mr. Keller was CEO and President of Keller Laboratories, Inc., a dental laboratory group with offices and manufacturing in Missouri and four surrounding states. He is a firm believer in continuing education through professional leadership and personal development. A University of Kentucky graduate, Mr. Keller has participated in numerous leadership development programs and has been invited to speak at professional conferences. He lives in West St. Louis County with his wife, Marsha. They have two children and five grandchildren.

Laura loves observing the activities, interaction and learning of young children. Their curious minds and robust spirits are a joy to nurture. She especially enjoys a delightful conversation over the meaning of a favorite book or the virtues of growing a garden. Her personal experience with a structured and educationally-based pre-school and the positive experience that process created for her family, is something she wants to duplicate at Kiddie Academy. “The opportunity to impact young children with the resources of the Life Essentials program is very exciting to me.” As a working parent, she understands the level of responsibility the academy has to provide a nurturing environment to our families’ most precious assets. She will work hard to meet the whole family’s needs and will build relationships that last well beyond the preschool years.Laura has participated with PTO boards and programs throughout her children’s education. She has taught religious education at the elementary school level and helped create a weekly faith program for families.Laura has worked in professional and leadership training and human resources for more than 20 years, ten of which were with Tom at Keller Laboratories.
