Kiddie Academy of College Station

Kayla Swanson is the Regional Director for Kiddie Academy of Bryan and College Station. She has been with Kiddie Academy for two years and brings over a decade of experience in early childhood education. Kayla began her career as a Pre-K Assistant Teacher and quickly advanced into leadership roles, serving as an Assistant Director and later as an Academy Director before stepping into her current regional role.     Kayla is deeply passionate about sparking curiosity in children while also inspiring a strong love for the early education field in educators. Her favorite part of her role is training teachers, supporting leadership teams, and investing in the next generation of early childhood professionals. She believes education is about more than letters and numbers—it’s about nurturing the whole child. Kayla focuses on kindness, independence, confidence, and social-emotional growth while creating fun, engaging, and meaningful learning environments for children, families, and educators alike.

Lorena has been a dedicated part of the Kiddie Academy family for the past 6 years. She began her journey as a Lead Teacher, where her passion for early childhood education quickly stood out, and she has continued to grow and is now our Assistant Director. Lorena recently graduated from Sam Houston State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a milestone that reflects her drive and dedication both inside and outside the classroom.   What Lorena loves most about working at Kiddie Academy is the opportunity to watch children grow, learn, and gain confidence each day. Seeing their progress and celebrating their milestones brings her immense joy and fulfillment. Lorena is proud to support children and families while contributing to a positive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive
