Kiddie Academy of Coral Springs

My name is Kimberly Martin, I am the owner and Executive Director of Kiddie Academy of Coral Springs. I have been working with young children for over 30 years. I currently hold a teaching certificate in the state of Florida in Early Childhood Education.   I have over 30 years of experience working as a lead teacher of infants through pre-k in a pre-school environment, as well as a kindergarten and first-grade teacher for both Palm Beach and Broward County Schools.  I love the field of Early Childhood!    I have guided children in Jean Piaget’s theory of education by providing appropriate learning experiences and materials that stimulate students to advance in their own thinking.    I also agree with the National Association of Education for Young Children’s core values, which recognize that children are best understood and supported in the context of family, culture, community, and society.      I have embraced Kiddie Academy’s philosophy of learning which is in line with all my core beliefs about Early Childhood Education. Kiddie Academy’s approach to learning is to nurture and guide children inspiring them to develop a lifetime love of learning.  I am very excited to be at Kiddie Academy. Being a working mother all my life with 4 children and now having 7 grandchildren, I am aware of the concerns and challenges families have when selecting someone to care for their most precious gift. Every child deserves the best care and positive early experiences. My goal is to pour my passion for early learning into my staff and to create an environment that is an extension of the family.
