Maggie attended Illinois State University where she received a B.S. in Politics and Government with a focus on Public Service. After graduating and entering the work force she realized her passion was working with children. Maggie then attended Oakton Community College to pursue her dream of being an Early Childhood Educator. Maggie graduated with honors and began her teaching journey. Maggie has worked as a nature preschool teacher, 2’s teacher, parent and tot teacher, and administrative assistant in her previous roles at a local park district. In April of 2021, Maggie became the Academy Director of Glenview. She enjoys watching our students grow, learn and explore each day.

Maria was born in Santigo, Chile. She was adopted at the age of 5 from an American family living in the suburbs or Chicago. Maria moved with her new family to Skokie, IL and this is where she was raised. It was there that she began to realize her passion for children. In high school, she began to take her love for children more seriously. She started taking classes and soon realized that it would be her career. She received her associates degree in Early Childhood Education. She then went on to get her bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science from National Louis University. The study of child development is her passion, the study of behavior is an interest of hers. Maria recently completed the directors training through Kiddie Academy. She also took an administration class focusing on early childhood. She is planning to continue her education. Maria has been in the early childhood field for over 20 years. She hopes to be in the field for 20 plus years more. For now, Maria enjoys spending her spare time with her husband and two children. She enjoys reading, art projects and puzzles.

Kierstin attended the University of Colorado Denver where she earned her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. More recently, she attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where she earned her PhD in Special Education. Kierstin appreciates that each child and family is unique and enjoys collaborating with families and teachers to support children as they grow and thrive inside and outside the classroom. In her spare time, she loves traveling, exploring new restaurants and cuisines, and attending sporting events of any kind. She is excited to work here with the children, families, and teachers at Kiddie Academy of Glenview.

Ms. Jamie has over 20 years of experience working in the field of Early Childhood Education in a wide variety of settings and age groups. She has a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Administration from National Louis University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Benedictine University. Jamie joined Kiddie Academy in 2015 as the Assistant Director of the Carpentersville Academy, where she guided her team through NAEYC Accreditation and earning the ExceleRate Illinois Gold Circle of Quality. In 2017, Jamie researched and authored three successful Requests for Proposal to the Illinois State Board of Education resulting in the Carpentersville Academy becoming 1 of 6 centers selected state-wide to be awarded funding to implement a center-based Preschool For All and Preschool For All Expansion Program. She was then promoted to Director of Curriculum where she led the PFA/PFAE programs which helped to bring high-quality preschool curriculum and resources to underserved and low-income families in the surrounding community. In 2021, Jamie accepted the position of Regional Director of the Carpentersville, Glenview, and Park Ridge Academies. Jamie truly loves being able to share her expertise, support, coach, mentor, and train the staff and Administrative Teams of each academy.
